Service Support SoftwareThe software package consists of three components:
The system has been designed to be generic in order to support many different business environments. It is quickly customisable using specifically designed tools for creating engineer job screens and designing report layouts. The engineer client is designed to run on laptops but we are looking into developing a version for handheld PDA's once the current software has been fully tested and is operational within a business environment. The engineer client allows for entry of job specific service data from a customer site including parts fitted, time spent on the call, etc. Once a job has been completed by an engineer, it can be submitted through use of a mobile phone to a central database server which collates the job details and stores them securely. The transmission process is secure (it uses a highly secure encryption algorithm) and fast (the data is compressed before sending). The Job Tracking Manager has been designed to be used in the office. Service calls can be entered into the system and given priorities and scheduled to engineers using a powerful calendar system. Engineers simply have to synchronise their laptops with the central database at the start of the day and any new jobs are automatically downloaded, allowing engineers to monitor their workload, view contractual agreements, service items or parts. There is a lot more to this software package than can be discussed here, so if you or your company has any questions or wishes to request a demo, please do not hesitate to Contact Us. |
